Relish, 1962


On the one hand, who hasn't wanted to just sit down and eat a whole veggie tray? On the other hand, radishes, celery, and olives with no dip make for a seriously subpar veggie tray. This is a bad party happening.

    So at first I thought that was some kind of dip situation surrounding those olives. But upon closer inspection it looks more like a super long turd covered with Bleu cheese. Is this the uneaten part of a veggie tray? Or a weird psychological experiment?

      I think that's where the good veggies were before she got stuck with the nasty remnants.

    Rudy- I think that's crumpled aluminum foil used to make a sort of shiny barrier so that the vegetables are each in their proper groupings. Which just makes this all the more weird.
